Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This site collects one thing: the email address you type into the waitlist form. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no cookies are set for ordinary visitors.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to the bubbl! website at bubbl-accessibility.com. The bubbl! mobile app has not been publicly released yet. When it launches, it will ship with its own privacy policy covering how the app handles audio, camera, and transcript data — this website policy does not describe the app.
What we collect
Waitlist signups
If you submit the waitlist form, we store your email address, the date and time you signed up, and a fixed label recording that the signup came from the website. That is the entire record. We do not ask for your name, and we do not collect anything else about you.
Your IP address
When you submit the form, your IP address is held briefly in memory to enforce a rate limit (a small number of signups per address per ten minutes) so the form cannot be flooded. It is not written to the waitlist record and is discarded when the server process recycles.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server request logs — including IP address, browser user agent, and the page requested — as part of operating and securing the platform. These logs are generated by the hosting provider, not by us, and are subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
What we do not collect
- No analytics of any kind. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no PostHog, and no equivalent.
- No advertising networks, no retargeting, and no social media tracking pixels.
- No fingerprinting, no session recording, and no heatmaps.
- No location data, no contacts, and no data about other sites you visit.
- We never sell, rent, or trade your email address, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies
No cookie is set when you browse this site. The only cookie the site can issue is a sign-in session cookie for the private blog admin page, which is used solely by the site owner. It is HTTP-only, restricted to this site, and is never set for ordinary visitors. Because nothing is stored on your device by default, there is no cookie banner to click through.
How we use your email address
We use it for one purpose: to tell you when bubbl! is available. As the waitlist section of the site says, that means one email at launch. It is not a newsletter, and we will not use your address for marketing unrelated to that launch.
Where your data is stored
Waitlist entries are written to a private Google Sheet through Google Apps Script, and are accessible only to the people who run bubbl!. Google processes and stores that data as our service provider, under Google's privacy policy. The website itself is served by Vercel. Those two providers, plus your own email provider when we write to you, are the only third parties involved.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until the launch notification has been sent, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. You can ask at any time and we will delete the entry.
Your choices and rights
Email info@bubbl-accessibility.com and we will, on request:
- Tell you whether your address is on the waitlist.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Delete it entirely.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. Write to the same address and we will honor them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted their email address, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. The waitlist form validates and rate-limits submissions before storing them, and the destination sheet is private. No system is perfectly secure, but because we hold nothing beyond an email address, the impact of any incident is limited by design.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above. Material changes to how we handle waitlist emails will be described here rather than made quietly.
